Guildford 's very own X Factor – but with a BIG difference.
Local bands play in front of a panel of experts who give each act and band positive and constructive post-performance advice and ideas for professional development. A great opportunity for bands to get free feedback from audiences and professionals. Come along to hear what committed professionals have to say to help bands improve and progress – see if you agree with the experts. (Not suitable for under 12s)
How to apply
This Festival event is running in association with the Academy of Contemporary Music
- Bands, solo artists, singers/songwriters, groups are encouraged to apply.
- Material should be original.
- Web links* should be sent to c.gardner@surrey.ac.uk by 20 February at the very latest.
- Those chosen to go through to the gig on 23 March will be notified within 7 days and given information about the event and what they will have to do.
* If you don't have a website then a CD/DVD is acceptable and details 
of where to send will be given if you email the above address. Please note, a website link is much preferred.
