This is the sound of globalisation! New York Times
The wonderful, beautiful and eclectic Warsaw Village Band bring their fantastic mix of traditional and modern influences to the University especially for the Festival. Roots, folk, world, dub, ethno all collide, producing a mesmerising sound, that leaves traditionalists and rock audiences shouting for more. As well as award-winning albums (including BBC Radio and a Polish Grammy) and outstanding live performances, their music has been commissioned for video games, movie soundtracks and theatre productions all over the world. This is the first of only two gigs in the UK, so buy tickets now, as we anticipate a sell out.
